Pilot Program

Converting to Air-Care Electrostatic Filters offers school districts a significant short term savings but an even greater long term savings district-wide. After comparing the effective price per Air-Care Electrostatic Filter with current disposable filter costs, many school districts are intrigued but circumstances do not permit an immediate 100% conversion. With this consideration in mind, the Permanent Filter Company suggests selecting a pilot program to test first-hand the improved filter performance and labor saving cleaning program based on pressure drop.  

We suggest choosing one or two test facilities to be converted to Air-Care Electrostatic Filters. We will install a pressure gauge on the most active unit at each facility to monitor pressure drop to determine your optimum cleaning schedule. The Permanent Filter Company will survey these facilities, custom manufacture and install the filters and periodically monitor the pressure gauges. This information will be reviewed with maintenance personnel to verify and determine the optimum cleaning cycle. During the test phase, The Permanent Filter Company will vacuum and clean the filters as needed. There is no additional cost to your school district for this filter cleaning service.

This option will allow your school to alleviate any concerns that might arise as a result of a district wide conversion. This option allows for a minimal amount of risk coupled with a high degree of reward from the cost savings and improved filtration that will lead to an increase in student/teacher performance.

Pilot Program Procedure:

Ø     Select a representative facility (or several) and determine a time period for the test; generally 6 months to 1 year.

Ø    Determine filter needs and resulting costs with our Assessment Form

Ø     Permanent Filter Company will install each filter along with a pressure gauge to monitor pressure drop

Ø    Based upon periodic monitoring of the pressure gauge, a cleaning cycle will be determined

Ø      After the test period is complete, a thorough evaluation will follow

Ø    We predict that your next step will be a full conversion to Air-Care Electrostatic Filters
